A new taxi service has launched in Paris that caters exclusively to women.
Called Women Drive, the business - staffed entirely with female drivers and geared towards female passengers - is aimed at combating the sexual harassment and assault of women by taxi drivers.
As the company's website  explains, their customers won't have to worry about "prying eyes or indelicate questions".
With a fleet of Mercedes Class vehicles, it also promises a luxury experience, with concierge and personal-shopper services on offer as well as water bottles, makeup kits, and tablet computers in each car.
Tourists take note: the "hostesses" will also be multilingual and you can book a car for an entire day - €350 (R5,500) for eight hours - during which you might take a tour of Paris or go on a shopping excursion.
The hourly rate is €50 (about R800), but you can arrange for shorter trips.
Reservations can be made online...
