New Queen set to join Cunard's iconic cruise ship fleet

Cunard is to build a new ship to join its fleet of red-funnel queens. The new vessel - whose name is yet to be announced - will be built at the Fincantieri shipyard in Italy and will join Queen Mary 2, Queen Victoria and Queen Elizabeth as part of the iconic Cunard fleet in 2022.
The ship will be the fourth member of the fleet and the first new Cunarder to be built in 12 years - also making it the first time since 1998 that Cunard will have four ships in service at the same time.
The new ship will have capacity for 3,000 passengers and signals parent company Carnival Corporation's confidence in Cunard's long-term prospects.
The ship will be the 249th vessel to sail under the Cunard flag since the company was founded in 1839 and will continue the tradition and luxury that have made the line so popular with generations of passengers...
