Have you ever passed a statue in a foreign city and wondered what its story was? Well, if the city you're in happens to be Dublin, then you're in luck.
The Irish capital has just launched an initiative whereby 10 of its most celebrated statues will call you on your smartphone as you pass by and tell you about themselves.Included are authors Oscar Wilde and James Joyce, playwright George Bernard Shaw, the mythological hero Cú Chullain and Wolfe Tone, who led the 1798 Irish Rebellion, and is widely regarded as the father of Irish republicanism.Here's how it works:..
