Ever dreamt of rolling like a rock star? Well, a new tour company called Roadies might be just the ticket.
Launching this month, it will be taking groups of up to 11 across the US on a glammed-up tour bus, rock-star style.
For a week, it will meander through places such as Las Vegas, Los Angeles, San Diego, Palm Springs, and the Grand Canyon. Each tour is accompanied by a driver and a tour manager, who has done all the thinking for you in terms of routes and roadside attractions.
All you do is climb on board, and choose from a wild array of excursions and activities in each location.
These include a cannabis tour in Palm Springs, rock climbing at the Joshua Tree, and laying down your own track at the famous 4th Street Recording studio in LA.
Each bus has 11 single-sleeper pods available for guests, which come with privacy curtains. The buses also have a bathroom and shower on board, and will stop every day in places that offer additional ablution facilities.
As for food, guests who buy the breakfast package will have food delivered to the bus. The rest will entail restaurant visits in the locations where you stop.
Tours start at $999 (about R13,000)...
