Since former president Robert Mugabe's administration, executives at most state-run enterprises have been treating public coffers like their own piggy banks, according to the latest audit report by auditor-general Mildred Chiri.

The 200-page report submitted to finance minister Mthuli Ncube on June 20 indicated most entities suffered financial losses due to the payment of unapproved board expenses such as holidays and luxury cars...
