Mampara of the week: King Dalindyebo

King Buyelekhaya Dalindyebo, dagga-smoking monarch of the Thembu, is clearly not the royal standard when it comes to setting a good example to his subjects. This week he began his 12-year sentence for assault with intent to do grievous bodily harm, arson and kidnapping. About time, too. The rule of law doesn't appear to be especially close to the heart of this former DA member, given that he reigns over his people as if there were no constitution at all.
