When it comes to justice, Magda Wierzycka's heart is in the right place. But attention to detail is not her selling point. The poster girl for clean government confused June 1976 with the Sharpeville massacre this week.
She tweeted Sam Nzima's iconic image of the dying Hector Pieterson with the comment, "Let's never forget 21 March 1960". Oops! That's like confusing Malema with Mandela. The billionaire bombshell had already angered her Twitter followers by suggesting our high unemployment rate could be alleviated if every household hired a gardener or a cleaning lady.
How about training doctors instead, Mampara? After the tsunami of criticism online, she announced she was exiting Twitter. Quite right, Magda. Rather shut up and put your money where your mouth is...
