On any other day, SA’s ambassador to Venezuela, Joseph Nkosi, would have been a shoo-in for this week’s award because of his idiotic offer to send the South African National Defence Force to assist that South American country should it be attacked by the US.
Fortunately for him, this country has an oversupply of political bumpkins. Helen Zille was also in the running, for insisting that South Africans should be grateful for being colonised.
Joburg mayor Herman “Hairman” Mashaba outdid all of them with his hair-raising comparison of President Cyril Ramaphosa’s track record in government with that of the dunderhead the Americans call POTUS.
“Hairman ” and Trump have a lot in common, including their hatred of foreigners.
So it’s a case of “Dumb Like Me”...
