Jimmy was a happy chap, until some Guptas captured him. He liked the curry and agreed to help them loot. He changed tender rules and made himself the ultimate decider. He gave the Guptas millions, and they gave him vendor financing.
What Jimmy didn't count on was that others were watching his wayward ways. So when Phumla Williams told on him at the state capture inquiry, Jimmy tried to be clever. He sent her a funny text message while she was on the stand, trying to influence her testimony.
But Phumla was having none of it and immediately told the judge of Jimmy's naughty text. Now Jimmy is in a spot of bother: the judge is angry and wants him to come and explain himself.
Oh, Jimmy boy, losing TV stations and newspapers must be a bummer, but don't be a mampara...
