PRIVATE PHONE ON A PARTY LINE

This mampara is walking around with a public phone.

That is if her version of how our reporter Qaanitah Hunter ended up with a picture of a gun in her inbox is to be believed. Matuba was caught with her pants down.

Instead of admitting and providing a proper explanation of why she was part of a clandestine meeting with Jacob Zuma, she resorted to intimidation. She later apologised, claiming that someone else, who was also using her phone, must have sent the photo.

Hunter has accepted this mampara's apology. But women in the ANC have to ask themselves if Matuba is the kind of leader who should be representing them.

No-one believes the communal phone story.

We let the matter go just because we did not want this mampara to drag us to mamparadom.
