To Dan Matjila, he's defender-in-chief, which in most reasonable minds reinforces suspicions about the probity of the PIC chief.
To Dougie Oakes, who wrote a rude blog post about his former boss this week, he's someone "neck-deep in a hole which he dug for himself - and slowly, but surely, it is filling up with s**t".
To columnist Chris Roper, he's the "apparent love-child of a strutting peacock and a cheap piñata".
To the bewildered remaining readers of his titles, he's the creepy dude who hijacks front pages to send personal hate mail.
