About 200 days ago, the US was in the throes of Covid-19, which claimed more lives than it had anywhere else. The country, where almost 600,000 people had died of the virus, was the only place where the pandemic had infected more than 20-million people - until India joined the dubious list last week.

Just over 100 days ago and after the change of guard at the White House, the US started what President Joe Biden called a "wartime-like" operation to vaccinate 100-million citizens in his first 100 days in office...
