Re “Unlocking growth essential for fiscal sustainability” (https://www.timeslive.co.za/sunday-times/opinion-and-analysis/opinion/2025-03-16-economic-growth-the-crux-of-south-africas-fiscal-constraints/) by Duncan Pieterse (Sunday Times, March 16). It is impossible not to be struck by the lack of thinking in the budgeting process. And of course, not understanding percentages...
