'Double matric' made him a schoolboy star

Less than an hour before Basic Education Minister Angie Motshekga announced last year's matric results on Tuesday, Temba Bavuma registered his maiden test century for the Proteas. Bavuma was a star pupil - he got three distinctions - but the main reason he remembers his matric year with fondness is because he did it twice.
