Things are getting so serious between Khloe Kardashian and rapper French Montana that she will accompany him to the star-studded MTV Africa Music Awards in Durban on Saturday.

A source told The Times that the 29-year-old Keeping Up With The Kardashians star will be the rapper's plus-one, and will record parts of her stay in the coastal city for the reality show.

The source said it is hoped that Kardashian will present an award.

Her beau is slated to perform on the night, at a glittering ceremony at which R&B star Miguel (it is unclear whether he will bring his hot girlfriend, Nazanin Mandi, along), Trey Songz, The Arrows, Davido, Uhuru, Mafikizolo, Oskido, Professor, Tiwa Savage, Flavour, Khuli Chana and Wizkid will hit the stage.

It's looking less likely that actress Lupita Nyong'o and writer Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie will pitch.

French Montana seems to have the seal of approval from family matriarch Kris Jenner, who has even posted an Instagram selfie with the rapper, captioned "I love you papi @frenchmontana #nobunight".

And despite being left off the guest list for the nuptials of Kanye West and Kim Kardashian in Italy, the Pop That rapper was reportedly back by Khloe's side at the weekend, when the pair joined Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick on a date at the Philippe Chow restaurant in New York.

The couple has courted gossip since late March when they were seen in a video cuddling in a recording studio.

On Monday, New York Daily News reported that both stars posted an Instagram Bonnie and Clyde-style picture of themselves, the rapper posing with a machine gun and Khloe swigging from a champagne bottle.

Khloe filed for divorce from basketball player Lamar Odom in December.
