African hair pioneer Jabu Stone gets his flowers

For more than 30 years Jabu Stone, founder of Jabu Stone Hair Care, has championed African hair in its natural form.

A qualified electrical engineer, he began his hair journey in the late 1970s and was recently honoured at the Africa International Hair & Beauty Fair as a Pioneer in Hair Care Innovation.

TimesLIVE’s Kgomotso Moganedi, who hails from Stone’s hometown, caught up with the legend to talk about his recognition and what’s next.
