Congratulations are in order for Big Brother Mzansi season 3 contestants Brandon, popularly known as “Gash1″, and Thato Mthombeni after they revealed they welcomed their first child together.
After hinting at the news on August 31, the couple announced the arrival of their son.
“Blessed beyond words. A beautiful, loving wife who I adore and love with all my heart, and a healthy, strong baby. Lord, how complete can one’s world be? Thank you for the endless grace, love, and joy You’ve poured into my life. My heart is full, my home is blessed, and my soul is grateful,” Gash 1 wrote on his timeline.
Thato wrote: “I’m a mommy to the most handsome baby boy and I tell you it’s been a journey and a half to get there.
“I didn’t think I could love my husband more than I already did. My love is overflowing. To my baby K, it’s what they say. Love for a child is a kind you’ve never experienced before. I am obsessed.”
Gash 1 and Thato met through the Big Brother Mzansi competition.
They started dating days before Thato was evicted from the Big Brother house while Gash1 continued in the competition, ending as the first runner-up to Mpho Wabadimo, who won the R2m grand prize.
After reuniting outside the competition, Thato and Gash1 picked up where they left off, sealing the deal. They have been dubbed “Tash1″, which is a combination of their names.
Speaking on their relationship in a YouTube video, the couple revealed they’re no longer just dating but stepped into a new stage in their relationship, hinting they were traditionally married.
Thato later took to her timeline revealing that her husband had put another rock on her finger in celebration of their union.
