Actress Helena Bonham Carter has hinted she has been filming new scenes as her character Bellatrix Lestrange for a new mini 'Harry Potter' movie.

The cast of the magical film franchise - which ended in 2011 with Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2 - were rumoured to have reunited for a new 'mini movie' to be played at the Wizarding World of Harry Potter theme park, and the actress has suggested she has indeed reprised her role as evil witch Bellatrix Lestrange.

Asked about her involvement in the project, she told BANG Showbiz: "I'm not sure what we're allowed to say. I think we've been gagged!"

Quizzed further if fans can take that as confirmation she is involved in the project, Carter added: "You can read into it what you will."

Filming on the secret project is believed to be taking place at Warner Bros. Studios in Hertfordshire, East England, where the eight full-length films were also made, and it will be screened at the Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Orlando as well as two new parks which are under construction in California and Japan for 2014 and 2016 launch dates respectively.

Helena Bonham Carter can next be seen playing a prosthetic leg-wearing working girl in the big screen version of The Lone Ranger, which also stars Armie Hammer in the title role and Johnny Depp as his sidekick Tonto.
