DJ Sbu sets trend after Top Billing features his luxurious home

Record label owner, DJ, and author, Sbu Leope has raised the bar for local celebrities after his ultra luxurious house was featured on SABC 3's 'Top Billing.'

Leope proclaimed that his personal brand was worth a billion rand recently, he walked the talk after showing off his extravagant house on Top Billing last night. The repeat of Top Billing will air on Sunday, 14 December at 12.30.

The gorgeous double storey Ruimsig house included modern decor, white and blue touches, a stunning koi pond with a patio, with all round views of Johannesburg and a spacious tennis court. Outside the home was one of Leope's cars - a white Porsche. He also drives a Range Rover. Viewers also got to meet Leope's daughter whom he shares with fiance, Disebo Makatsa. Makatsa is a geoscientist by profession and holds an MBA from Wits University.

Leope shares his journey to success with the show, detailing his latest ventures which include the release of his book, 20/20 Leadership, an entrepreneurship academy and his new energy drink, Mofaya.

The Tembisa born DJ, started off his career at YFM. He once spoke of how he had to sell sweets on trains to make a living. Leope's business acumen didn't end there as he co-founded TS records which has spawned artists such as Zahara, the late Brown Dash, Ntando and others.

About his success, Leope told a monthly magazine: “I believe following your passion allows you to never have to work a day in your life. Then your passion eventually leads you to your purpose. Purposeful living is what I’m doing now – making a living out of serving others. I have experienced even more success by dedicating my career to serving others."
