Dr. Dre, Elton John and Drake to host radio shows on Apple Music
The latest news coming from the launch of the hotly anticipated Apple Music, is that Dr. Dre, Elton John, Drake and Pharrell Williams will be among a gaggle of celebrities to host their own radio shows.
With days to go before the tech giant launches its 24-hour radio streaming service, more details are emerging about artist collaborations.
According to a report by The New York Times, artists that have signed on to host their own one to two-hour radio shows include the aforementioned, along with St. Vincent, Queens of the Stone Age frontman Josh Homme, Disclosure and Jaden Smith.
Anchoring Beats 1 Radio will be New Zealand DJ Zane Lowe, whom Apple poached from the BBC.
His first high-profile interview will be with Eminem.
Apple Music launches June 30.
