Kylie Jenner blasted for 'racial appropriation'

Amandla Stenberg has blasted Kylie Jenner for wearing cornrows, accusing her of ''appropriating black features''. The 16-year-old actress accused the 17-year-old reality TV star of not helping black people by carrying out racial appropriation by showing off her new hairstyle in a photo on Instagram, captioned ''I woke up like disss (sic)''. Amandla commented: ''when u appropriate black features and culture but fail to use ur position of power to help black Americans by directing attention towards ur wigs instead of police brutality or racism #whitegirlsdoitbetter (sic)''. Jenner later responded to the comment made by the Hunger Games star - who took Jenner's longtime pal and once rumoured boyfriend Jaden Smith to prom in May. Jenner replied: ''@amandlastenberg Mad if I don't, Mad if I do.... Go hang w Jaden or something (sic).'' While Stenberg doesn't approve of Jenner's hair choices, the selfie queen announced she's launching a beauty website...
