DJ Sbu's ex opens up about breakup: 'I didn't cheat on him'

DJ Sbu’s ex-fiancée Disebo Makatsa has for the first time spoken out about her break up with the popular radio presenter and denied allegations that she cheated on him with a multi-millionaire businessman.

Makatsa, an MBA graduate who is a geoscientist, rubbished rumours that she cheated on DJ Sbu with a Johannesburg tycoon, Edwin Sodi and told Sunday Sun that “there was no man or any person who caused our separation.”

“It was an amicable separation,” the media-shy Makatsa revealed.

DJ Sbu and Makatsa share a baby girl together. Their break up earlier this year made headlines.

“I’m sick and tired of these false rumours. They must stop. DJ Sbu will always remain my baby daddy. What we had, we had – and it’s over.

“Our separation has nothing to do with what people are saying. I’ve moved on and at this stage am not going back,” she said.

DJ Sbu's phone rang unanswered when the tabloid attempted to get his comment.
