Top Ukhozi FM DJ in the red for speeding

A popular Ukhozi FM radio presenter was caught speeding at 161km an hour in a 120km zone on the N3 in Grootvlei, Mpumalanga.

According to Daily Sun, Ngizwe Mchunu will appear in the Balfour magistrates court on Thursday morning.

Mchunu admitted he was speeding and trying to get from Joburg to Durban in record time.

“I agree I exceeded the speed limit. I was rushing,” he snapped.

"I apologise to all motorists using the roads and I also apologise to everyone who sees me as a role model. I will comply with court procedures to show it was a mistake and I apologise," he said.
