After Ntsiki Mazwai published a series of tweets last week that appeared to accuse Simphiwe Dana of being an alcoholic who slept her way to the top, award-winning singer Sipho "Hotstix" Mabuse got involved on Monday as he tried to publicly reprimand the two.

Mabuse’s efforts to call for truce between Mazwai and Dana was met with a sequence of vitriol from the latter, who labelled the 66-year-old musician a “self righteous gossip” who is looking for attention.
