DJ Arch Jnr gets to play with the big boys

DJ Arch Jnr has landed his first big gig with the godfathers of house music.The three-year-old‚ Oratile Hlongwane‚ known as DJ Arch Jnr‚ will be performing alongside legendary DJs such as Black Coffee and DJ Christos.The youngest winner of South Africa’s Got Talent will be performing at the “Back to the Old Skool” concert‚ which is a celebration of house music. Also set to perform are the international “godfathers of house” music‚ Roger Sanchez‚ David Morales‚ Jazzie B and Todd Terry.Joining them are South African stalwarts DJ Ganyani‚ Bob Mabena‚ DJ Mbuso Phezulu‚ Sishisoul and Fistaz Mixwell.This will be the young Alexandra-born DJ's first major gig since winning the competition in November last year.The "Back to the Old Skool" concert takes place at Mary Fitzgerald Square in Newtown in Johannesburg on Saturday‚ February 27.- TMG Digital/The Times..
