Idols winner Karabo Mogane joins forces with Disney Junior
Idols SA winner Karabo Mogane is flying the SA flag high after being selected to record the theme song of Disney Junior’s hit TV series The Lion Guard.The popular TV series is inspired by the timeless Disney classic‚ The Lion King.The track entitled Here comes the Lion Guard has been written by Disney collaborator Beu Black and has the same djembe drum beats as the original song.“I was totally blown away when Disney asked me to record the theme song for The Lion Guard. I grew up with The Lion King movies as a child‚ and to now be asked to sing the theme song for this new series that continues that epic storytelling is a real honour‚” said Karabo.Karabo‚ who is currently in Los Angeles‚ also took to social media to express his excitement.
