Following reports that filming for the silver screen adaptation of Stephen King's magnum opus The Dark Tower has begun, stars Idris Elba and Matthew McConaughey arrived in Cape Town over the weekend, where the highly-anticipated movie is being filmed.

Taking on the role of a villain known as the Man in Black a.k.a. Randall Flagg, Matthew McConaughey reportedly landed in South Africa on Sunday with his family - his wife Camila Alves and their three children Levi, Vida and Livingston.

If her latest Instagram post is anything to go by, it seems Camila is enjoying the view offered by the Mother City.

Meanwhile, Idris, who'll be playing the role of the Gunslinger a.k.a. Roland Deschain, reportedly arrived with his friends last week Tuesday and started shooting the next day.
