Speaking to Power FM, Bob explained that he had just landed from a work vacation outside the country, when he learnt about the claims against him. While his initial reaction was to "laugh it off," he admitted that the report created an "awkward" atmosphere in his house.

"The first thing is to laugh it off, like 'oh, there they go again," he said.

"Throughout the day, it is awkward at home. You know what I mean? And in the evening, I sat down with my wife, and I said: 'Look, we can laugh it off, so that we feel better about ourselves. But this is just not right. We both need to agree how I feel about it together, how it affected us, and how we move forward. And only then, after we've really talked about it, where [we'll] be okay,'" he added, before pointing out that "there will always be some kind of suspicion,'' also given the fact that he has a "colourful past."

According to the report, the Kaya FM host was allegedly dumped by the woman, who claimed that he was not providing for her. However, during his breakfast show on Tuesday morning, it is understood that the woman called in to apologise to Bob and his wife for the report.

"She apologised to me and my wife, and said the journalist actually called her and she told the journalist that there is no truth in this matter, and she's actually never met me at all.

"Now you can imagine, after my wife and I had discussed it and made peace with it, here comes this woman with proof," he added.
