Rapper AKA will join popular UK rock band Foster the People, as a headliner at the Rocking the Daisies music festival in Darling, Western Cape in October.

The first list of artists set to perform at the popular festival were announced on Monday and included the likes of Nasty C, Mango Groove, Jimmy Nevis and UK dance artist Eats Everything.

Fans took to social media to share their excitement at the announcement, and more especially at the prospect of seeing AKA perform live at the festival.

The festival, held annually, will see 250 acts perform across 10 stages from 6 to 9 October.
