Oscar Pistorius: The Interview is set to be aired on Carte Blanche (Channel 115) at 10:55pm tonight.
The much-anticipated ITV interview with Peabody award-winning journalist Mark Williams-Thomas has already garnered massive international interest with the Paralympian breaking his silence for the first time since he shot and killed Reeva Steenkamp in 2013.
According to a report in the Guardian Pistorius admitted that he deserves a long jail sentence but did not want to "waste his life" behind bars.
"“I would like to believe that if Reeva could look down upon me that she would want me to live that life. At times I don’t feel like I should have the right to live for taking someone else’s life,” Pistorius said.
The interview, which will first air in the UK, will then be aired on Carte Blanche.
It will then be repeated several times across the DStv platforms.
