Black Coffee shows Somizi the way

The Idols SA judge was left inspired after seeing snaps of Black Coffee hanging out with US superstar P.Diddy at his Malibu home recently.

Somizi took to Instagram to repost a picture of Black Coffee at Diddy's house, with his thoughts on what it means to him and the lessons it can teach us all.

"This happens when you are in no competition with anyone. When you stay in your lane. When your intentions are good. When you pray. When you realize that that there's a piece for everyone in this big pie. When you climb higher and higher without stepping on anyone to get there. When all your knives are used to sharpen your craft not to be placed on anyone's back. When you know that everyone has their time to shine and yours is either coming or its here. Black Coffee, your footsteps are visible and we shall follow," he wrote, before thanking Diddy for giving the DJ a chance to shine.

Somizi's praise for Diddy was shared by DJ Sbu who also paid tribute to the US hip-hop legend for opening doors for the whole continent.

"God bless your heart for opening doors for that guy. You help him, you're helping an entire continent of hundreds of millions of black people who are look up to you. Black Coffee, this is beautiful bro. We are all inspired and very proud of you," he wrote.
