Boity shuts down engagement rumours: 'I am very single'

Actress and TV personality Boity Thulo firmly quashed rumours that she is engaged after she was spotted wearing what looks like an engagement ring in one of her Instagram posts.

Speaking to DRUM, Boity poured cold water over speculations that she could be walking down the aisle soon, let alone being in a relationship.

"I am very single, and I’m not in the mood for a relationship," she told the local publication.

So, what about the ring she was pictured wearing on her wedding finger? Well, it turns out it was just costume bling.

"I had three rings on. People talk and it doesn’t matter if it's real or not," she explained, before pointing out that "life is not linked to marriage."
