It turns out Winnie Mashaba, who came out as the Best Gospel artist at last year's inaugural FAME Awards, is yet to receive her real award.

Taking to Instagram, the gospel star revealed that a year has passed and she has since not received her award, adding that organisers claim that they do not know who's responsible for getting the gong to her.

"Over a year now no one knows who is responsible to give me the award, including the organiser," she wrote, alongside a throwback snap of herself at the FAME Awards last year.

"Feeling disappointed and disrespected somehow undermined but God knows better."

In the comments section, Winnie further revealed that she isn't the only one who hasn't received her award.

"I was told that it was only me who did not get that award but @nokomashaba [and] @chymamusique also did not get awards.

"Worse part is, even performance fee and prize money for others [is still outstanding]," she wrote, before adding that she hopes that the provincial government will intervene.

Meanwhile, the nominees for this year's FAME Awards have been recently announced.
