The entertainment industry might be super competitive and jobs said to be scarce, but don't ever expect musician Zakes Bantwini to sell out his beliefs in order to keep a job.

In an environment where celebs are often accused of being fake and pandering to public opinion, Zakes has spoken out on the practice.

  •

Taking to Instagram, Zakes wrote: "We should not be scared to raise issues because of the fear of losing out on bookings. I don't want to be that kind of musician."

Zakes went on to add that he would accept losing out on business but would not stop speaking out about issues facing the country.
