TV personality Dingaan Mokebe ka Khumalo has poured cold water over speculations that he was fired from SABC 2's Speak Out, claiming that he voluntarily left the consumer rights show, due to ''behind-the-scenes politics.''

This comes after Sunday Sun sources alleged that Dingaan's contract was not renewed, because he had a haughty attitude and "demanded many things from producers."

However, speaking to the local publication, the TV host and actor quashed the sources' claims, revealing that he left the show, because of a number of things that he wasn't happy about.

"Yes, I’m no longer shooting with them. I left because there were many things I was unhappy about," he explained.

"But I wasn’t fired. I left Speak Out," he continued to clarify.

It is said that Dingaan will be replaced by his fellow Muvhango actor, Lesley Musina, who couldn't confirm nor deny the rumours of his appointment to Sunday Sun.
