Mo Flava shows his support for female DJs

Radio personality Mo Flava has given a slot to an upcoming DJ on his coveted dance floor at this year's Spring Fiesta in Ekhurhuleni.

After running an online competition for a newcomer DJ to feature on his House Of Flava floor at the annual music festival amongst some of the biggest names in the country, Mo selected DJ Bondeep from a combination of online votes and the mix she submitted. 

"I strongly felt that I should give a newcomer a place on my House Of Flava dance floor this year at Spring Fiesta," said in a statement.

"To help up and coming DJs rise, we need to give them credible platforms and exposure and this competition was just my way of playing the part. I wish DJ Bondeep all the best for her Spring Fiesta debut. I hope she will add to the vibe and that the crowd will love her," he added.

DJ Bondeep, will be one of three female DJs featured on the House Of Flava line-up to be announced soon. According to a statement, she started DJ'ing in 2011 and is starting to make a reputable name for herself in the communities that she performs in.
