I was never a fan of my own music, says Emtee
It's no secret that Emtee has become one of the country's rising urban music stars. However, despite defying expectations and garnering praise from fans and more established peers alike, it turns out the Roll Up hitmaker wasn't all that impressed with his work.
Taking to Twitter in on Monday night, Emtee revealed that he was recording new music. He applauded and commended himself, saying "it is one of the best records" he has ever made.

"I believe in myself, know what I’m capable of and [realise] what I have to offer," he told Mail & Guardian during an interview earlier this year.
"I don’t even remember myself having a nine-to-five job except for one that lasted a week. This [music] is what I wanted to do and ever since deciding to take my [musical] career seriously, things have gone smoothly," he added.
