From Spud to stud: Troye Sivan is steaming up Hollywood on new V mag cover
Damn, the boy has grown! Once the darling of the world with his portrayal of a school boy on Spud, Troye Sivan is all grown up and melting hearts.
The SA-born actor and musician has become a global sensation over the last few years, and proved he's the real deal with a spot on the latest cover of the trend-setting US fashion magazine V.
The September issue of the prestigious mag was released this last week and shows a grown up Troye star alongside rising model Taylor Hill in a series of intimate snaps, including one where the 21-year-old poses with his chest bare while a naked Taylor sits on his legs.
The cover has caused a frenzy online, with fans and critics commenting on Troye's versatility.
Speaking about his ascend to fame, in an interview with the magazine, Troye said sometimes he can't help but giggle at how crazy his life is.
"The fact that everything is happening the way it is. It sends me into giggles. Like, the fact that I woke up last week and was like, 'Oh, I just need to quickly fly across the country to do a photo shoot with Mario Testino and then fly back to play a show.' I don’t know how else to process it but to laugh. Sometimes it feels like I’m in Zoolander. I went to the Billboard Awards, I was backstage, and Rihanna just casually walked by. I was like, 'What the f*ck?' Hilarious," he said.
And this certainly won't be the last cover Troye is one. He recently teased a shoot he did with popular US lifestyle magazine tmrw.
