You will hardly see Cassper without his close friend Carpo nearby. The two share a special bromance like no other, and as it turns out, there's a heartfelt story tailing behind their deep connection.
Speaking to Slikouronlife recently, a teary Carpo shared how Cassper saved his life when he was in a dark space, suggesting that if it weren't for him, he probably could have been dead.
Recalling a time when their bond reached new heights, Carpo said after watching his dad (in 2007) and his mom (in 2008) pass on, Cassper was his first point of call.
"I went to Cassper's house, and he was like 'I'm with you forever,''' he said.
Soon after his parents died, Carpo revealed that he went on to live with his brother - who he claims "did something to [his] life."
"I went to Maftown and Cassper said to me, 'Please don't leave me'...I put my bags down, I said I'm quitting school, because of my brother. My brother didn't pay [my] school fees.
"Then I stayed with Cassper at my house in Mafikeng. We used to eat fatcakes everyday. Cassper was like, 'One day, we're gonna go far. One day, we're going to make it'. I'm like 'Dawg, let's pray'. I sat down with Cassper and we prayed every single day, from Monday to Monday."
He went on to say that living with Cassper saved him from ending his life, as he had suicidal thoughts.
"That boy changed my life. He's the reason why I'm who I am today. If it weren't for Cassper, I promise you, it's either I was going to be dead or suicidal," he explained.
