Just days after Zuluboy was axed from Ukhozi FM, the radio station has reportedly shown producer Msizi Nkosi the door for allegedly placing more focus on promoting his book than fulfilling his duties at the station.

According to Daily Sun sources, Msizi, who produced a show called Nethezeka NoKhozi was fired for allegedly neglecting his responsibilities on Ukhozi FM, while on a quest to publicise his book, I’m a Different Mess Than I Was Yesterday.

"He forgot he was hired by Ukhozi and neglected his duties at the station. This was not the first time he skipped work to promote his book," once source told the local publication.

Another insider added: "He was careless and thought his book was more important than his job."

Speaking to TshisaLIVE, SABC spokesperson Kaizer Kganyago confirmed that Msizi will no longer be on air, however refused to divulge reasons for his exit.

“We confirm that Msizi Nkosi is no longer at Ukhozi FM. He is a freelancer and as such when the terms of the contract are not kept the contract is terminated by the station. It was not a mutual decision. I cannot comment on the details surrounding the termination because it is a contractual issue between the two parties."

On Wednesday it was reported that Zuluboy was axed by the station for allegedly favouring his music over other artists on his two shows Namba Namba and Chillas.
