The Oteng hitmaker has spoken out on the coffin assault case in a video he posted to Instagram.

Members of the African National Congress (ANC)‚ Democratic Alliance (DA) and Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) gathered outside the Middelburg Magistrate Court on Wednesday where two white farmers accused of assaulting a black man and putting him in a coffin appeared in court.

Dr Malinga is not happy with the rallies held by political parties and accused them of  "claiming" the victim.

"It doesn't sit well... What I hate about this issue is that political parties start claiming that this guy belongs to this party and this ward. Please, guys, let's not fight. Let's fight racism," he said in a portion of the video.
