Speaking to the host of Real talk with Anele, Moshidi shared some of the values and lessons she wishes to teach her daughter.

She explained that just as she has learned from merely observing her mother, she wishes her daughter will learn her other traits.

"I think it's important for her to see me be present. That she is a first class citizen and that does not need to be validated by someone else," she said.

The actress emphasised that mothers also need to teach their daughters how to be selfish because it has become harder to be a parent as the dangers of the world increase.

"I wish to teach my daughters how to be selfish. We don't teach women that enough. May we teach our daughters how to be selfish to know when to leave, and to know when enough is enough," she said.

Moshidi added that women needed to realise that they didn't have to compromise.

"May we teach them that they do not need someone else to know that they are beautiful and they are worth it. She must know that when it don't feel right, she can forget it and doesn't have to compromise on who she is," she said.
