WATCH: DJ Milkshake on a 22-hour walk for charity

DJ Milkshake has embarked on a walk from Soweto to Rustenburg in an attempt to raise awareness for schoolchildren who walk to school with no shoes.

The musician took to Instagram last night to let fans know about the venture.

"Very happy and excited to tell you about this venture. I will be walking from home in Soweto to Rustenberg to raise awareness for school children who walk kilometres without shoes, sometimes food and school uniform," he said.

Milkshake added that the distance was approximately 120KM.

At around 1pm this afternoon Milkshake had reached the halfway mark and said that he was in a lot of pain.

"As I speak to you I'm broken. I'm sore. I'm tired and its hot," he said.
