Football legend Lucas Radebe is loving married life and is open to having more children with his wife Thobela Silver.
The pair got married in a traditional ceremony in 2015 and Lucas told TshisaLIVE that they have discussed the possibility of having kids.
"Perhaps one more," laughed Lucas when we asked him if the couple had any plans to have a child together.
Speaking at the launch of Disney XD's Disney 11 football show, Lucas compared his married life to a career in football.
"It’s like everything else in life. You can be married to football too. But in order to excel at it, you must take care of it. In order for it to be a good marriage, you need commitment and love. You have to love your wife and nurture and respect her.
"Some young men these days make relationships about themselves only, and it doesn’t work. Find balance in your life, live a good life and be a good person in your community. If you do this you will leave behind a positive legacy," he said.
Lucas has teamed up with Disney to mentor young aspiring football players on the new series, which focuses on skills development.
"It’s a great show where kids can learn something from it. The show teaches about being passionate, working together as a team and perseverance. I’m really passionate about kids and enjoy working with them, so this was the perfect fit. The football angle was also appealing and being able to recreate some skills that were seen in the series was lots of fun," Lucas explained
Disney 11 airs each weekday from 4.50pm, on Disney XD (DStv Channel 304).
