With the rise of slay queens and the constant need to appear successful on these social media streets, actress Katlego Danke has made a conscious decision to rather focus on the pixels instead of the bigger picture and she explains why.

In an interview with TshisaLIVE, Katlego shared some pearls of wisdom.

"In this day and age, with social media, we are very concerned with the look of things. You know, overly concerned about the bigger picture but some of these things don't need you to fret over them. You must take car of the smaller details, the bigger picture will put itself together."

Sis was preaching so we took out the note book

The Isidingo actress got her preach on as she explained why paying attention to the smaller details was important for her.

"For me, legacy is not something I think about consciously. I'll always say this, it is more about giving 100% every single day. One must think about knocking the ball out of the park. It is more about the daily exercise, getting your body healthy and fit, eating right then when that dedication shows you will hit the 'ball out of the park'. It's about the smaller actions that lead up to the bigger picture."

After Katlego left us drowning in wisdom, we thought it wouldn't be fair to let her go without picking her brain about life.

You are welcome!

My purpose in life is... to educate.

My heart beats faster when... I am next to water.

I hope South Africans will... forgive and forget.

 I believe in... God.

Nobody knows that I... am quite secretive.

In five years I... will achieve all the things I set my mind to.

I am constantly searching for... spiritual contentment.

There is a life beyond acting because... I'm a person bigger than acting.

If I had a billion rand I would... help my fellow South Africans out of poverty

If I had one wish I... would make all the children in SA just happier, like everyday. For them to just be happy.

What I know now is... that life carries on beyond death.

Shu! Deep.
