Throughout her rise to fame Zodwa Wabantu has always said she's got her eye on the prize: coins. She's repeatedly said she's not here for anything else: the recognition, the fame or the high-life. She just wants to make money. And that money isn't for flashy things, but the basics that she hasn't always had.
And she's got you, her fans, to thank for that.
As Zodwa left to the US, she was reflecting on life.
She said that even with her growing income and the fact that she was a star, she treated herself like a nobody. That's how she balances herself.
While it is Afrotainment boss DJ Tira who hooked her up, Zodwa said she owed it all to her fans.
Zodwa posted a series of videos of herself wearing a revealing dress while greeting fans and took a moment to say thank you.
"I only talk with my Boss @djtira for 2 minutes, perhaps once a month. He knows I can have the best table,with my Savanna dry & whiskey, but these people are everything.
