As fans continue to mourn the death of DJ Avicii who died in Oman on Friday, DJ Fresh has paid tribute to the Swedish DJ, saying his legacy will live on through his music and the kids he inspired to get into EDM.

Avicii was in Muscat, Oman on holiday when he was found dead. Authorities in Oman have ruled out criminal activity and have said two postmortems were carried out. There are still no details around the circumstances around his death, but pictures of the DJ a day before his death show him looking happy and healthy at a holiday resort in Muscat.

Guests have spoken out about the star, saying he happily took pictures with fans and was walking around like a normal guest.

Meanwhile, DJ Fresh has paid tribute to Avicii. Fresh was part of his 2012 South African tour and in a series of videos posted on his Instagram page, Fresh said the Swedish DJ inspired people to follow their dreams.

"I've been DJ'ing since I want 13, right. I've been doing radio since I was 18. This year will be 20 years of radio for me, right. The moral of the story: don't be afraid to follow your f*cking dreams. Avicii is 22 and he's f*cking running the world."
