Michael B. Jordan hails Atandwa Kani's international award win

Fans and friends, including Hollywood actor Michael B. Jordan, have celebrated Atandwa Kani's recent win at the Houston Black Film Festival.

Atandwa was stunting on the competition with a win in the Best Actor category for his role as Chance in Love by Chance .

The film, which stars American actors Clifton Powell, Terri J. Vaughn and E. Roger Mitchell, also won the Best Romantic Comedy and Best Soundtrack awards.

Michael, who starred with Atandwa in Black Panther , blew up the comments section with emoji's including the praying hands to signal "blessings".

Atandwa thanked Michael for the love and was soon swarmed with other messages of appreciation.

Atandwa helped Michael and others on the set of Black Panther as a 'language specialist', making sure that they nailed the culture and Xhosa language.
