When AKA said he was a more "mature version" of himself, most people on Twitter responded with "let's see how long that lasts," but those naysayers are slowly being proven wrong as the loudmouth AKA we used to know is really gone.

The rapper used to type almost anything that came to mind and often shared his unpopular or controversial views on topical  matters in SA and in the world.

However, AKA is now a changed man and said he's realised his opinion isn't "so special" that it needs to always be shared on Twitter.

The rapper explained why he's not willing to just offer his opinion randomly on Twitter.

He spoke about the the realisation that led him to looking at better ways to express himself.

AKA said he's realised that it's better to preserve your energy for more important things like taking care of you and yours.

Well... This AKA certainly speaks more sense than the trigger happy twitter fingers we used to know and love but we guess that's what it means to be mature.
