UDM leader Bantu Holomisa has blamed a teleprompter for a massive TV blunder that saw him become one of the biggest talking points in Mzansi.

Just as we were recovering from The People's Bae's spicy stint as a guest presenter on eNCA, Bantu grabbed the mic on the show and within a few minutes was trending on social media.

The leader stumbled through the start of his show before things went more south than Zodwa's voshos when he tried to recount the proverb about teaching a man to fish.

Frustrated at getting it so horribly wrong, he started shaking his head and moaning at the teleprompter "No, no, no!"

As Twitter was trying to compose itself, ANC leader Fikile Mbalula took to social media to offer his support and give him some advice.

Bantu wasn't upset at being made the butt of people's jokes and in a tweet blamed the teleprompter for his moemish.

Meanwhile, Twitter streams were filled with memes and jokes about the incident.
